Wayne Kuchar

Wayne A. Kuchar, 71, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Saturday morning, February 7, 2015 at 11:29 A.M. at his residence.

Mr. Kuchar was born on January 21, 1944 in Springfield, IL, a son of Anton & Agnes (Shields) Kuchar.

Wayne graduated from Feitshans High School in Springfield, IL.

He married Sandra Kae Dunn in 1964 in Springfield, IL and they had 2 sons together. They later divorced. He later married Sharon Coss in 1994 in Auburn, IL.

Wayne was a member of the Carpenter’s Local Union #16 for 30 plus years and retired in 2006.

In his younger years, Wayne was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting game as well as mushrooms.  He also liked to gamble, especially playing Black Jack, where he would go to tournaments 3 times a year. Later in life, he enjoyed gardening and sharing his produce with family and neighbors.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Sharon Kuchar of Litchfield.

Sister,                   Mary Jane Boridgnon of Iowa

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, & step-son James Traylor

Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 14, at 11:00 A.M. in Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield, IL. Chaplain Glen Greenwood will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until time of service in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Litchfield Food Pantry.
