William Krisinger

William E. Krisinger, 88, of Litchfield, IL, passed away May 8, 2016 at Montgomery Rehab and Nursing Center in Hillsboro, IL.

William was born on December 15, 1927, a son of Frank and Emma Krisinger.

Mr. Krisinger was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict from 1952-1953.

He married the former Jeannette Turner on December 16, 1948 in Litchfield, IL.

William “Bill” worked for International Paper for many years until his retirement.

Bill and Jeannette loved to travel and spent many happy winters together in Arizona and Florida. They also enjoyed spending time on the lake fishing and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannette

Daughter,                                            Kris (Companion Tom Fenton) Krisinger of Litchfield.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Private family funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield, IL. There will be no visitation. Tracy Armstrong, associate minister of Union Avenue Christian Church in Litchfield will officiate. Burial will be in the Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield, IL. The family suggests memorials be directed to PAWS Care of Montgomery County.
