George W. Knuth, 75, of Staunton, IL, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at 3:02 A.M. at Staunton Memorial Hospital in Staunton, IL.

He was born on August 18, 1942 in Kansas City, MO, a son of the late Norman & Ester (Gross) Knuth.

George was an Owner/Operator Truck Driver, driving for several different companies over the years.

Mr. Knuth was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam era.

 He was a club brother of Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club and Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club. 

George is survived by his children,

Sons,  William N. Knuth of Warden, IL, Robert (Crystal) Knuth of Litchfield, IL, Jerry Millsap of Litchfield, IL, Donald Millsap of Alton, IL, Keith (Melissa) Millsap of Litchfield, IL,Jerry Knuth of Farmersville, IL

Daughters,  Sherrie Millsap of Alton, IL, Ginger Knuth of Farmersville, IL

Grandchildren, Justin Knuth, Kimberly Millsap, Rebecca Millsap, Abby Millsap all of Litchfield, Corey Millsap, Geoffrey Millsap, Greg Millsap of Alton, IL, Michael Millsap of Godfrey, IL, James Millsap of O'fallon, IL, George Millsap of Edwardsville, IL & Hank Jordan of Granite City, IL. 

6 great-grandchildren


Sister, Sharon Knuth of Kansas City, MO


He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nancy Knuth.


Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 25, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield, IL. Pastor Rudy Elam will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 until service time at Litchfield Family Funeral Service.  The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
